New Moon
Published by admin | Filed under Fiction

Description:
Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won’t be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The “star-crossed” lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy’s reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.
Rreviews:
You know the old saying, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. For me, I have pasted this book(whole series it fact) because I didn’t like the covers. Don’t ask my why. A friend had the books and told me “you just have to read them, they’re great” So I took then, thinking that I would skim through them if it got too boring. Boy was I wrong. I absolutely loved them and buying my own set now. New Moon is the second in the series. You really have to read Twilight before you read this one and both before you read Eclipse. New Moon starts out fine, Bella is happy, in love and everything is good. Then Edward gets a dose of reality and deciseds to selfless thing and leave Bella. Bella falls into depression, only really coming out of it when her dad forces her hand. She slowly starts to live again and forms a friendship with Jacob, a local for a neighboring reservation. She finds that she can still feel close to Edward when she defies his last request. Things start to get hairy for Jacob, literally he is becoming a werewolf to protect his land now that vamprires are having free reign. Something is after Bella. Some won’t see the love Bella and Edward share, I think mostly teenagers who haven’t experience love and sacrifice yet. It’s a good story and leaves you wanting another book right now.
